The interview process was lengthy, but fair. After passing an assessment test, I started with the hiring manager, who asked standard bill-of-fare questions related to my background. He did ask how I prepped for the interview including if I looked him up, reached out to any of my connections there, and watched videos about the company. Caught me off guard, but I recovered. He liked me enough to move me forward with their Solutions Engineer, and Customer Success Managers, who were both great to interview with, and provided a lot of background about the Sales rep lifecycle that brought perspective to what I would do in the role. They went with a different hire for the role, but immediately had another opening on a different team that I interviewed for today. That interview went very well, as I had a great understanding about the company already, so I'm hopeful that an offer will come next week.
