My interview at Pluton for the Junior SQAE position was highly disappointing. The office lacked clear identification, with no signage indicating it as a software house. The interviewer seemed ill-prepared, barely asking 3-4 questions before abruptly informing me to wait for an onsite test. However, after leaving the room for a few minutes, the HR representative asked me to go home and promised to send a test link, which never arrived. A week later, I stumbled upon a LinkedIn post advertising the same Junior SQAE position, where Pluton openly stated a meager salary of Rs 40,000/-. It would have been fair for the company to clarify their non-competitive salary and spare candidates the wasted time, effort, and loss of confidence. My suggestion to the HR management is to be transparent about salary expectations, provide feedback to candidates, and consider online interviews for a more streamlined process.
