Interview
You have to pass a test where you swim a certain length, perform rescue techniques, and answer basic questions about cpr and first aid. Very easy, just memorize the simple moves and basic stuff in the textbook they give you.

Interview
Very Casual. After you are a certified lifeguard (certified by starguard) you're pretty much guaranteed to be hired. Interviewees are interviews by the District Aquatic Coordinators who are all really down to Earth.
