The process was lengthy, disorganized, and ultimately disappointing. After passing four rounds of interviews and completing reference checks—which typically come at the end of the hiring process—I was surprised to learn I still needed to interview with the CEO. Unfortunately, the CEO's lack of engagement, distracted demeanor, and focus on my commute rather than my qualifications left a poor impression.
A more streamlined and transparent process, with clear expectations and respectful interactions, would benefit both the candidates and the company in the future.
