I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
The application and assessment was pretty straightforward. The assessment had a few tricky questions on it, but nothing that was not able to be figured out. The initial phone interview was not that great an experience. The interviewer clearly was reading a script and didn't seem to think much outside of what the script said. For example, I am graduating with my bachelors degree in 3 weeks, which it clearly states on my resume. The interviewer refused to acknowledge this stating that I only have a high school education. I could not figure out why even put me through the process when I was upfront from the beginning about my completion date. The personality of the interviewer was also very dry and ruined the process for me.

Interview
Did not feel that the multi-stage interviewing process I went through was necessary for the hiring managers to understand my background and consider me for the position. Even though I did not receive an offer for the position, I do possess a positive outlook on the process and believe that it allowed me to gain more good interviewing experience.
