The interview process was a smooth transition. Do your homework on the company (they will ask what do you know about progressive and will ask why do you want to work for them) I also studied the STAR method. I cannot stress this enough STUDY STUDY STUDY the star method. They use this method for their phone and in person interviews! The recruiter I spoke with on the phone was very nice, the supervisor I sat with was very informative and pleasant--the interview didn't feel like an interview at all (in a good way). Felt like I was having a conversation with a friend. Just be yourself, sell yourself and show why you would be a great fit for the company. Good luck everyone!
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to multi-task at work and how did you solve these tasks.
I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Houston, TX) in Mar 2024
Interview
8 prerecorded behavioral questions, 2 attempts to record 3 min answers which must be delivered in STAR format. Wish I had a few days to prep, I would have done much better. I was invited to the next round of interviews, so I guess it was alright. There are some helpful YouTube videos about preparing in advance for behavioral style questions and the STAR format. I suggest taking time out to study those a few days before hand.
