I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter in late June 2024. Due to the 4th of July holiday, there was a bit of a delay, and I did not have video interviews until the week of July 22nd. I was told that I would hear by the following week, but I didn't hear until two weeks later that I was not offered the role. Overall, the process was too long, and the hiring manager should not have promised that I would hear a decision by a certain day if that was not going to happen.
