I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Prolinx in Feb 2023
Interview
If anyone is reading this at any stage of the interview process, please absolutely listen to the low star reviews previously posted and stay far-far away from Prolinx. It really does look like a place for your career to grow stagnant and become unhappy. I definitely dodged a bullet here.
I was looking to invest my time and career in a company that would invest in me, however based off the interviews that took place, I initially rejected the offer based upon the stressful workload and the lack of a progression path in the company from this role.
After providing this feedback to the recruiter, I approached by someone of management to offer me a higher position in another part of the company. When it came to discussing salary, a number (only a few thousand higher than the role I'd originally interviewed for) was hinted.
When I asked for that frankly low number, almost immediately the mood from this person of management changed and they became extremely rude and unprofessional. I was then told in a very bad-tempered manor that if I wanted that much, that there was no point having this conversation, wished me luck in getting that salary at my current employer and after a few more comments, the call was ended.
As I'm writing this, I remain dumbfounded how quickly going from stating every reason I should join Prolinx to burning any possible bridge went!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Prolinx (Shrivenham, England)
Interview
Process took about 3 weeks(or a bit more in days). I had a telephone interview which was successful and then a face-face interview which was again successful and an offer was given.
The offer albeit was lower than what I had expected given my experience. I was considering the role but they immediately rescinded it because they said I didn't have the required documents for SC clearance 'without remarks'. I tried to rectify this issue and requested their help in rectifying it to which they turned down my request. The role was re-advertised the same day.
I think it was very unprofessional of them to behave the way they did and I'm glad I didn't progress with them because their behaviour showed they were an unsupportive employer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Prolinx (Shrivenham, England) in June 2019
Interview
I had a 50 minute interview which was very laid back, very conversational mainly with a few competancy based questions. I had positive feedback a couple of days after my interview and was told they were interviewing others over the next week or so so would make a decision by a certain date. They kept within these epectations and provided me an offer without any further interviews. The offer was under the advertised salary range, very frustrating and insulting and was told there was no room for negotiation. I rejected the offer. I still don't uderstand what their game was, if I didnt have the skills to carry out the role, why was I offered the job at all? Be aware, they advertise a "Defined Benefits" (final salary) pension scheme but it is infact the bare legal minimum "Definied Contributions" pensions scheme. I provided constructive feedback including this yet 3 months later they have not changed their careers website to the correct information.
