Received a phone call from the company’s recruiter upon submission of my resume, and I have to be honest this was the WORSE first impression of a hospital organization I have ever had. And I’ve worked for quite a few. Her interview responses and questions were painfully scripted and dry. If she was trying to sell me the company she utterly failed. I had already received an offer from another reputable facility but was holding out for St. Joseph’s Napa location just because it was at the peak of my interest. However, five minutes into this call, I could not wait to get off the phone.
She also asked for SPECIFIC start and SPECIFIC end dates. She was not satisfied with the fact I worked from August, 2015 until November 2019. She wanted an exact date and day. I’ve never ever ever been asked this, was so awkward. The per diem pay offered was also very bad.... I ended up emailing her the day after just thanking her and letting her know I was taking an offer elsewhere. But what I really wanted to say was that she left a horrible representation of her company. Someone really needs to reevaluate and train her.
