Interview
I was asked to do a phone interview with the recruiter who told me about the program and what is involved after asking some interview questions and at the end let me know that I would be moving forward in the process to have a video interview using Microsoft Teams.
I had my video interview on a Friday and heard back from them on the following Monday. The whole process took about 3 weeks.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Providence (Fullerton, CA) in May 2023

Panel interview with 3 nurse managers/educators. General interview and pick the top 3 desired units at the end of the interview. Panel stated they will try to match each person with either their first or second choice.

Question 1
1. Why did you want to become a nurse? 2. What does cultural competency mean to you? 3. What would you do if you have a declining patient? 4. How did you manage a situation with a difficult patient? 5. What does teamwork mean to you? 6. Prioritization question--ranking tasks in order of what you would do first. 7. Case Study question (given 6 minutes to read/write down an SBAR) on a scenario (for example, stroke)

Panel interview online due to COVID. However, lead interviewer wasn't very friendly. Not even sure how much they were paying attention to responses. Kind of already felt right off the bat that I wouldn't get the job. Felt uncomfortable and awkward.
