I applied online. I interviewed at Public First (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
First interview - general questions about subject matter knowledge and interest. Fairly unstructured in nature, more of a conversation. Was expecting slightly less emphasis on knowledge given how early-stage in the process this was.
We mostly discussed the area of policy which the job was covering, as well as motivation and experience. There was some discrepancy between the questions asked & job description, and feedback received, which caused some confusion. However, the detailed feedback was appreciated.
