I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pvotal Technologies (Eagle Point, OR) in Apr 2023
Interview
My interview experience at Pvotal Technologies consisted of two rounds over a span of 10 days. The first round was pretty laid-back, mostly about sharing my background and discussing previous projects. It included some basic technical questions, nothing too tricky.
In the second round, I met with the CTO who asked more in-depth technical stuff about cloud architecture, GCP ML, large language models, and RLHF. The questions covered some cutting-edge topics, but they weren't overly difficult. Instead, they focused on exploring broad theoretical aspects of some machine learning topics.
Overall, I had a good experience. The folks at Pvotal were quick to offer feedback and transparent throughout the process.
