I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Quince (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I was recruited to interview by one of their recruiters. It was a 1 hour long interview that was very thorough, and I received amazing feedback. I felt like I was going to be hired. They said I would need to take an assessment before we completed the second interview. The assessment was extremely personal, and had very uncomfortable questions that didn’t make sense with what the job description was. I ended up failing the personality test, even though I was supposedly a great match when we had the virtual meeting. Seems like they need to meet a quota of people they interview but the positions are already filled, they just do it to follow protocol. And a company that used AI and personality quizzes to rate a human being is actually disgusting.

I applied online. I interviewed at Quince in Mar 2026
Interview
Soon after I applied online, I received an invitation to meet virtually with their Talent Acquisition team member. I was 5 minutes early, she was 10 minutes late. She asked no questions about my previous work experience, and instead spoke over me after asking me for the months I worked and left because I apparently wasn’t answering quick enough. The only question asked pertaining to the role itself was why I wanted to work at Quince and if I was okay with the salary and work schedule. After that she asked me to do a speed test to determine if my internet would be fast enough for the role. It was overall a very odd, quickly rushed conversation. I was given an assessment to do afterwards which was fine. The phone call portion was a mess as you’re speaking to an AI bot and role playing a situation that you would need training on.
2 interviews and (+ an assessment): 1 with recruiter and then the other with a manger from cx dept. they asked basic questions. The assessment uses AI and seems simple but could be tricky
