I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RBC in Oct 2020
Interview
I got selected through an employee referral. The position was in the Enterprise Risk Modeling group. In the first step, one of the managers interviewed me and it was purely technical: dunder methods in Python, metrics to evaluate a regression model, Kaggle competition review, etc. It was a one-hour interview. The interviewer was very good and helped me feel comfortable and less stressed.
Recruiter called, then interview with senior manager. Converesation with them was around 1 hour, some technical for sql/powerbi. Both were pretty basic if you've been in the industry a while
3 round of interviews. One take home assignment. One technical round that contains SQL/Python. One final round with director. Overall it’s not too hard, basic understanding of some frequent used formulas and problem solving skills
