REI interview questions

Two managers, in-person. They asked questions about how I would deal with difficult customers. I also asked if I was comfortable with up-selling customers on the MasterCard. At the end of the interview I was offered a job. My understanding is should not have done that but one of the managers liked me and I got the impression they wanted to be done with interviewing candidates. Also I was a reliable older person, not a kid who might not show for work.
