Rainier Clinical Research interview questions

One brief informational interview over the phone for minor questions. Following half hour long interview scheduled online. Completed interview. Basic behavioral questions for the position as expected. Spoke about my experience on resume. I was informed they will reach out in a matter of a few days/one week max. Never heard back from them. Expected a denial based on my experience with their communication. Its unprofessional to leave candidates hanging and waiting on an email for the following next steps or if denied.
