Interview
This interview was a complete waste of time. After a very brief initial phone call with HR an interview was arranged with the hiring manager and I was briefed that it would be a discussion around my CV and my experience. The question part of the interview was fine, very general questions about the role and my experience. I then had to complete an Excel test on the first interview which had not been communicated to me prior to call. I was given a huge piece of work to complete in around 30 minutes then feedback on the call. I was told it was disappointing I didn’t finish however my interview latest around 2 hours. I was then told I could complete in my own time and send back. It is completely unfair to put candidates through this and I have never experienced this on a first stage interview. The hiring manager was rude and the salary was poor so all in all dodged a bullet.

Phone screening, then virtual interview with manager and HR, and then second round in person interview with Managers manager.
