Despite that, I knew I met the basic eligibility criteria. The panel delved into my soft skills. "How do your communication skills, honed through your English studies, translate into a healthcare setting?" they asked. I spoke about the importance of clear, empathetic communication with patients and families, especially when explaining procedures or responding to requests in a timely manner. They also probed my teamwork skills and how I would ensure patient satisfaction.
