Ratehub Data Engineer interview questions

1. Round 1: Intro call with HR 2. Round 2: Video interview with Hiring Manager and HR, just to get to know you/the role etc. 3. Round 3: Take home assignment- open ended data processing task 4. Round 4: Video interview with HM and peer to go over the task, background questions etc.

The Interview was not complicated. It started with a phone screen as Step 1 which lead to a Code activity as Step 2. The step 3 was an interview with the team where they went over the code and discussed about possible areas for improvement. The team was nice. The negative experience was that the hiring team didn't want to give a definite ans until the last min. I was told about being considered and then a no comes after a week at the very last min. I didn't find this behavior very professional. A hint of your chances would be nice and allows the individual to plan and move ahead. They could have been transparent about the progress since candidates put in weekends trying to solve their coding activity.
