Incredibly Unprofessional. Bait and Switch Interview Tactics. Replied to a posting for Full-Time work and was told after the 1st interview that it was part-time at first for 3-6 weeks and then "could" turn full-time if it was a good fit. Called references of candidates without being selected. After references were contacted they called me in for a short meeting, which was actually a 2nd interview (wasn't mentioned). Repeatedly said they were looking to hire someone right away, but it's been over a month since initial job contact by company and they still haven't decided on who they are goin with. No direction of what the position duties would actually entail. The direction of the job duties seemed to be split between sales and marketing, but was all over the place as far as actual understanding of where the role would go even though it was presented as a customer service role. In total, I spent over 3hrs doing interviews with them which included a sit down with the CEO and another employee that included a typing test and scenario based sales questions. Interview started with a phone screen, then a group interview w/typing and sample response to potential customer issue, followed by a 2nd group interview w/sales scenario response questions. I was also asked to compare other jobs I've applied to, as well as, the pros and cons of this one compared to others. Nice people, but very unprofessional, poor communication clarity, and no transparency on job/hiring process. They should really hire a temp agency to do the vetting for them because ultimately this position is a part-time temp-to-hire to full-time position.
