      Paid Search Analyst Interview

      6 July 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Charlotte, NC
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2022

      Interview

1 phone call, 2 Zoom interviews and 1 in-person half-day interview with my potential team. I applied to two different positions so the interview process was longer than average. Interviews included an excel test and case study test that you worked on during the interview with a team member.

      Paid Search Analyst Interview

      6 Feb 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures in Jan 2015

      Interview

Submitted application online; Heard back from HR recruiter 1 week later to set up phone screening. Asked mainly behavioral, why I chose my college, major, etc. Moved on to second phone interview; This was a case interview with a Senior Paid Search Associate. They give you general info prior to the interview and essentially this is just to see if you can do mental math (they ask you not to use a calculator). The case was pretty straight forward and seems like a typical scenario for someone in this role. I recommend to become familiar with SEO terms just so you are not thrown off. Next step would have been on-site and most likely they would be looking at fit and 1 or 2 more case questions. I think they were mainly concerned with my experience and why I was leaving my company so early.

      Question 1

1.After multiplying and dividing several times, how many calls lead to activation and what was RV's profit? 2. Without doing the math again, would you rather have an 15% increase in clicks or a 5% increase in activations? 3. How would you increase your click-through-rate?
