They ghost candidates after putting them through four interview rounds and a take-home assignment. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had as a candidate. After investing significant time and energy, I was told the role was offered to someone in a “preferred location”—something never mentioned in the job description or during interviews for what was advertised as a fully remote position. They wasted my time and showed a lack of transparency and respect for candidates’ efforts.

Following a phone interview, I received an exercise and assignment to complete. It was well-researched and organized, and very specific to the role. I withdrew at this point to pursue another offer.

Much more typical consulting questions than I anticipated! If you don't have consulting experience, I would spend some serious time case prepping. I would also research the organizations they've worked with because it is likely that the case will be based on one of those.
