Interview
It took about three weeks. The technical lead contacted me and we started with a 25 minute prescreen interview then we did a full 1 hour interview over Skype (because of location).
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at RevTrak
Interview
After I sent in my very first email expressing interest in working for the company, I was contacted regarding an initial interview by a recruiter. She was incredibly helpful and gracious and was someone with whom it was enjoyable to interact. She was very encouraging, spoke highly of the company, and demonstrated genuine interest in me as an individual and not simply as a potential recruit.
I then had to take a few personality tests that helped identify where I would fit in the company, which I found quite enlightening as it made me aware of aspects of myself that I hadn't previously noticed.
After that first interview, I was contacted by an HR person. I had initially applied for a position at the company that ended up not being what I was interested in as it was more of a temporary position that left room for the possibility of full-time employment. She made me aware of the situation and also told me of a second position for which I seemed to be a good fit and that matched my timeline, and I applied for it.
We then scheduled an on-site interview with an account manager. This was quite an enjoyable interview as the interviewer asked great questions that allowed for natural transitions and showed genuine interest in my personal and work histories. The interactions were positive, the atmosphere was light-hearted, and the interviewer did a fantastic job of communicating what the environment at RevTrak was like as well as identifying ways in which my skillset and experience would be a boon to the company.
After that, I received invites to a job-shadowing session as well as interviews with the company's president and the woman in charge of Client Engagement on the same day. The job shadow was helpful and gave me a sense for the kind of work I would be doing and with whom I would be working. I also enjoyed the interviews with the company president and the head of Client Engagement. The president shared a bit about his vision for the company as well as some of his own story to show what led him to start RevTrak and work toward creating the culture that he and his team did.
Thank you so much for this feedback. We are pleased that you found the interview experience positive and hope your tenure at RevTrak exceeds your expectations.

Interview
Applied online. Was interviewed by a recruiter that didn't seem to know much about the position or understand what the company was looking for. Had to take a Strengths Quest and Meyers Briggs test. Was then interviewed on site for half an hour by the HR Assistant, followed by a two hour intensive interview by the department manager spending half an hour talking about what I was like in high school. I understand finding the right fit was important, but it was a little absurd.
