I applied online with resume & CV via linkedin. Got an email after a week from a recruiting coordinator to finish the assessment through their online portal at www.tfapply.com. You do an entire assessment with these categories Application, Personality, Mental Alertness, Business Terms, Vocabulary, Perception, Mechanical Interest, Alpha Sequence, Graphic Sequence, Math Word problems. Most of these have time constraints with personality being 45 min and aptitude being 1 hour.
After completing and passing this assessment I received a call from the corporate recruiter regarding pre-screening me with few eligibility questions like Are you a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen? Do you own a vehicle? I'm a citizen and own a car; states this admin position is 80% desk job 20% warehouse support. then arranged a skype interview with me later next week. In the skype interview, Matt's skype camera wasn't functioning so we did a phone interview. In this interview, he reinstated if I was a citizen again then asked about what Reynolds & Reynolds is and about your work history and education via your resume. Questions like did you graduate? what field were you working in? What kind of jobs did you work full time/part time/ contract? How long have you been with those companies.
After further discussion he states that the position has already been granted to another candidate and offered another position like Customer Service Professional with unusual shifts like nights and afternoon with 1 saturday of month availability. Not only that, He also offered Shipping and Receiving associate which is 80% labor and 20% data entry with promised salary of 30k-32k. I inquired about switching roles within the company, He stated you need to be working at least 1-1.5 years and based on your performance and manager feedback. We spoke about company culture, R&R associates raise money for different charities every month and wear jeans to work on fridays to raise $2 for charitable causes. Also twice a year, R&R does training sessions in canada and informs associates about upcoming events/trainings via email.
After passing the drug/theft/etc test. I humbly declined the shipping & receiving offer.
I personally recommend searching for corporate recruiter on Linkedin for future opportunities if you are applying for positions within Reynolds and Reynolds. He is the last line in the interview to inquire about any position in Reynolds and Reynolds.
