I applied online. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds
Interview
I applied for a part-time content writer position and was immediately required to complete extensive pre-employment assessment testing. The tests required a significant time commitment, but I completed them fully to the best of my ability. A few business days later, I received an automated rejection notification. I was not considered for an interview and received no feedback regarding my test performance, the application status, or the aptitude standards required. In my experience, the process felt very transactional and discouraging for applicants who invest time into the assessments. I wish the company provided constructive feedback or a breakdown of test results before deciding not to pursue a candidate, rather than relying on automated rejections."

Interview
After completing about three hours of assessments and sample work, I interviewed with a general recruiter. Immediately afterwards I had a Skype interview with a supervisor. A week later, they decided to have me drive to Houston, where I interviewed with two more people and sat with a worker of the position I was applying for. Then it all went bad. I was told they would have a decision in 3-5 days. On the 5th day, they told me I would have to interview with one more person. We scheduled for the next week, but the day of the interview, I received a call telling me he was unavailable and that we would have to reschedule for the next week. The next week, I drove up to Houston again (about a two hour drive) and interviewed for a total of 15 minutes. I was told 3-5 days. 6 days later, I called, and the same guy that delayed my interview had been out of the office all week. They told me they would get back to me in a couple of days. On day 10, I called again. They told me that they had passed on me. When I asked, they said they had made the decision two days ago. They left it to me to find out.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (New York, NY) in May 2023
Interview
I had an initial Zoom meeting with a recruiter from HR. The interview was pleasant and she was really nice. She said she was passing my profile and meeting notes onto the Design division at the Houston location. I'm fairly certain they passed because I was asking for $70K, even though it's a more than reasonable amount for product testing and content writing.

Interview
Aptitute test had to be taken prior to getting an interview and then once again the day of the interview. Interview with the recruiter is done via Skype. If you meet their qualifications you will be asked to stay for in interview within the department you've applied for. Overall, the entire process took close to 5 hours.
