I applied for a summer internship as a software developer. The process was quite similar to a lot of other places. Firstly fill out an online form then complete an assessment. I then had a Skype interview and after passing this went to a 1 to 1 interview. In the interview the company mostly wanted to get to know me and just asked personal questions. There were no questions about coding ability. I had to have the exact same interview twice because that is their recruitment process. Additionally, I had to retake the same online assessment in a proctored setting (although I was just left alone in a room to do it) and told I can leave once I finished.
