I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (Santa Monica, CA)

      Interview

I had 2 phone interviews and 2 Skype interviews. Most of the interviewers are pretty nice or at least they pretend to be. I think if you are more qualified then the interviewer for the role you are actually going for then they will come down harder and find a way to make you look stupid which actually really irritates me. Before I interviewed I looked at tons of questions on glass door... but the ones I have listed here below are the ones they actually asked for the Production Coordinator role. My advice to you is be yourself and if you think you are more qualified than your interviewer in this role then humble yourself a little more. They want people with a growth mindset and that means they want you to be able to fail, be honest about it and learn from it which I think is great however it isn't when the interviewer is out to get you for being more qualified. All in all even with the negative experience with this person the rest of the people were great and I would still recommend Riot. 1st - Phone screen - 20-30 minutes Rest of the interviews were about an hour but 20 minutes near the end is just talking to each other about your and their interests.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want to work at riot? What do you want to be in 5 years? Tell me a time you failed? What is the best feedback you ever gotten? Tell me a time you had received critical feedback? Do you have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset? --- VERY IMPORTANT Tell me a time you had to give critical feedback? And how did they take it? What 3 traits do you think you need to do this role? Out of these 3 traits which one will you most likely fail at? Who is a leader who you look up to? Why? Then what could he have done better? What are 3 top traits of a leader? How do you handle an Ambiguous work environment? What do you think is one of the top values of Riot games?

      Interview

Super informative and friendly interview process. Everyone I talked to was willing to answer their questions and seemed very genuine. Seems like a good place to work at and the interview process really sells you on the company. Was asked very critical questions so it is very best to prepare. Interviews are now remote based.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2020

      Interview

The interview was pretty straightforward. There was two people interviewing me, but the second person was pretty much quiet the whole time. The interviewer read off a question sheet basically just star method questions and about past experience. Overall, it was a pretty chill interview and she asked if I had any questions at the end.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2020

      Interview

The first interview was a basic discussion of my professional background, the general duties of the role, and a self-review of my professional abilities. The second round interview will be more craft-focused and likely will consist of open-ended questions regarding hypothetical situations and how I would respond to them.
