My interview process was longer than a typical hiring process, but that was because Riverside was building out a brand-new role specifically around my experience and background. I had the chance to meet with leaders across Customer Success, Sales, and our CRO, along with completing a simulation and several thoughtful conversations along the way.
What stood out to me was how collaborative and intentional the process felt. It gave me real face time with the people my role would work closely with and helped both sides make sure it was the right fit. While I don’t think every interview process at Riverside is this extensive, I really appreciated having the opportunity to understand the business, the culture, and the team dynamics before joining.
In the end, the process led to me becoming Riverside’s first Account Manager, which made the experience feel especially meaningful and rewarding.
