      Site Reliability Engineer Interview

      14 June 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Mateo, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Roblox (San Mateo, CA) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Their chief scientist found me on linkedin and contacted me directly. A number of phone calls with their recruiters and 4 phone calls with engineers. Constant followup from their recruiters who wanted to know what questions were asked, (maybe the right hand doesnt know what the left hand does) No programming test. Final onsite with lots of questions asked. The entire process was very positive, friendly, and their enthusiasm was higher than average; I did not receive or detect any signs that the interview was going bad. Asked about the next steps, and they said they would make their decision within a week. Never heard back from them. Really strange. Not even a canned rejection email.
