      Front End Developer Interview

      21 June 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Roblox in June 2012

      Interview

3 Phone Interviews with different programmers each time Consisted of one on one online programming tests which ranged from basic data structures to pretty difficult math proofs. After all them was flown out for a day on site. Consisted of talking face to face with each of the phone interviews again with more one on one programming tests that again ranged from easy data structures, to math proofs. After those 3 more interviews a 1:1 with the co-founder asking you questions about yourself. If you don't have a Computer science background, even though i was interviewing for a front end developer, i wouldn't bother applying. I also interviewed with there Russian developer ( he gave me all the difficult math problems, he was a bit hard to understand, and would not give any feedback on how I was doing even when i asked ). Also after spending all that time I got no feedback on why I didn't qualify, just that they didn't have a position for me which was disheartening.
