I applied through university. I interviewed at Roche (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interviewer was from HR and clearly didn't have knowledge of certain questions I had pertaining to the position and still tried to answer giving me vague answers that were just the questions reworded. In addition, they called me fifteen minutes late and though I offered to reschedule, they proceeded anyway insisting it was fine. It clearly wasn't because they rushed through the entire interview process, offering vague answers and even being rude. I have never had a more disrespectful interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Roche (Basel) in Feb 2026
Interview
The first interview was a video assessment. The second interview was with the lead manager, who was very nice and caring. The process felt open and thoughtful, with an emphasis on ensuring a good match for both sides. Process took very long (+5 months).

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Roche (Pleasanton, CA) in Dec 2024
Interview
I completed a phone interview following the initial screening call, but both interviewers asked very similar questions throughout the conversation, so I honestly could not tell which person was actually the hiring manager during the interviews.
