I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RodgersHouder (Downers Grove, IL) in Mar 2019
Interview
Phone screening twice which led to shadowing recruiting pit and interview. Recruiting pit was just a bunch of people working and recruiting and they just sit you down in the middle of it. Some employees will offer insight, but they also hand you off to employees that ignore you and you just sit there bored for hours. Recruiter will make you feel very welcome and will get you excited, recruiting pit will show you how everything works (way longer than it should have been), then you have your interview with the boss. The employees talk him up but he was very rude to me personally. Made quick assumptions about my work ethic and felt very attacked and felt like I needed to defend myself and traits the entire time. Walked into the experience extremely confident as the recruiter talked me up and made me feel like I would be a perfect fit as well as the employees so you get comfortable and let your guard down, walked out of the interview extremely discouraged and angry. If you don’t want someone to join your team that has treated you with respect, try to get to know them and let them down easy. Don’t attack someone, make them feel like nothing and burn ties. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion.

Question 1
Do you have any prior experience making phone calls?
I interviewed at RodgersHouder (Milwaukee, WI) in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone interview and then a formal interview in person. The interview took about an hour, then I shadowed a recruiter, then another interview. It took 3 hours. The questions asked crossed the line for an interview and were repeated many times. They made assumptions about my home life, family and how I was raised. They said they were “just getting to know me”, but it crossed the line. Very unprofessional.
