I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Roque Marketing (Richmond, VA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Don't be fooled: this is one of those commission-only, door-to-door/ harassing people over the phone, "you can run your own branch in less than a year!!" sales jobs, and this "company" will flat out LIE just to get you in for the "interview", and THEN tell you what it really is only after you've already arrived (bait and switch).
What was advertised as a "Public Relations Representative" job turned out to ACTUALLY consist of going to the houses of people who'd inquired about Verizon Fios and trying to convince them to buy it.
The guy that I met with (the owner of this so-called company) acknowledges that they lie to get people in the door saying, "If we posted what this job actually is, we'd have all kinds of gremlins and people totally unqualified for the job." Which I understand, but to lie to people is not right.
I explained that I'd applied to a public relations role to which he responded, "Well... we do relate to the public hahaha..."
I wasn't laughing. He probably won't be either when they get my BBB complaint.
If a commission-only, door-to-door sales job isn't what you're looking for, then this isn't for you. So, you've been warned.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No real interview questions. At this point, they'll acknowledge that you probably applied for something different than what the job actually is (you did), and then tell you what you're REALLY in for.
