I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Round Table Construction (Plano, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
Relatively Small construction company that does interior work for office spaces. Received a email to conduct a phone interview with one of the owners, phone interview lasted 15 minutes with basic questions and a face to face interview with the two owners was scheduled for the following week. Arrived 25 minutes early to the face to face interview and glad I did because one of the owners had a meeting scheduled at the time of my slotted interview. Questions asked was basic, alot of asking about the type of past projects you’ve done and how you handle stressful situations. But I could feel I wasn’t going to get the position because the owner started talking about how another interviewee was going to meet the supervisor and would be shown around the office, so I got the sense they were interviewing for back up options because they didn’t do any of those things during my interview, so I felt like they wasted my time.
