First was a screen with the recruiter. Then was meeting with the hiring manager. Final step was the panel. From start to end, it was probably 2 weeks. It was a fairly straightforward process that moved quickly.

Question 1
I was asked to complete a prompt and present a 30 minute response.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAS (Raleigh, NC) in Apr 2016
Interview
Received an email almost 2 weeks to the day I applied to set up a phone interview. Had 2 phone interviews over 2-3 weeks and then was asked to fly in for a face to face panel interview 2 weeks after the 2nd interview. I was asked to prepare a presentation for the panel interview. Ultimately we couldn't agree on salary, so I declined but it seemed like a great place to work. The HR staff was pleasant to work with and responded promptly to emails. The people I interviewed with seemed like they would have been great to work with.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAS in June 2011
Interview
Process was drawn out due to headcount issues. The interview was focused on PM techniques and knowledge as well as skillset in handling customer relationships and problem/conflict resolution. Interview compriced of a phone interview, a one-on-one interview and a panel interview with two managers. HR plays a large role in negotiating salary and it is important to stand firm on your needs as they tend to hire with a salary in mind and will discard candidates if the salary gap is too large.

Question 1
Nothing particularly hard. There is a lot of soft questions regarding 10 year goals, personality, team fit etc.
