Applied via agency, they phoned me and an interview arranged fairly quickly. Arrived ontime and was left in a corridor (as they have no reception) for about 10 minutes. I was taken into a meeting room by someone who did not introduce themselves, nor explain their role at all during the interview (I had to ask the other interviewer after they had left the room).
The interviewers said they were fedup of interviewing poor candidates and that "you will do" as I have the right experience for their needs. They explained about the company and their achievements, as well as the challenges they face in IT and that they adopt a rather 'reactive' stance on things, due to the nature of the business and time pressures faced. I was given a tour of the rather tatty office and saw a rather mixed bunch of casually dressed and unmotivated looking employees.
They were agreeable in terms of flexible working and salary offered was competitive. However I did not feel like it would have been a fulfilling role nor positive career step, so turned down their offer.
