I interviewed for a backend job at STEPapp and it was really good. The people interviewing me knew a lot and were nice. They asked tough questions but they were fair. I knew what they wanted from me. They told me how I did quickly after the interview. It's clear that STEPapp cares about the people they interview and wants the best for everyone.

Interview
The interview process was fairly easy with one test and one technical round. Things were smooth till this. After this, the CTO Mahesh Sharma reached out to me on WhatsApp asking for a short discussion regarding my experience in the IT field. It started pretty normally and the discussion was fruitful till the point he said, "we don't hire female devs". I was confused but asked about the compensation, he said he'll talk to the management and disapproved my request. At last he said that he's hoping that we'll meet one day. I really don't understand how the CTO of a startup flirt with women when trying to hire them in their company. DOWNRIGHT DISGRACEFUL!
