Interview
The interview process began with a phone call from Safeway Corporate, which included Certification Verification and scheduling a phone interview.
A few days later, i received phone call from Safeway Corporate which included simple questions like, "With the recent changes in health care, where do you think the pharmacy field is going", and basic discussions about scheduling and company policies.
A few days later, i got called in for an interview at the Safeway Store. These interview questions were very similar to most job interviews. Ie. How is this position relative to your future career? Give an example of an experience dealing with an angry customer and how did you handle it? Are you able to multitask consistently?
In the end, i was offered the job via phone call.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Safeway (Santa Cruz, CA) in May 2018
Interview
Was interviewed by the Store Manager. I was asking simple interview questions and offered the job at the end of the interview. We went over my available hours for my first week of training. During training another lady will help setup your Safeway account and payment details etc.

Interview
Very simple. Interviewer was store manager and just asked generic interview questions (just read them off the paper). Asked about a page worth of generic questions and hired me on the spot. Proceeded with the drug test.
