I applied online via the Safeway website. I was then contacted about 2 weeks later by two of the stores that I selected as options I wanted to work at. I scheduled a face-to-face interview and went in.

If a customer had a problem with something you served them what would you do?
Fast interview, hired on the spot. Called same day, offered interview then job same day so we will see how the job goes. So far wonderful manager and the team is nice.

I emailed them my resume and I got called back 2-3 weeks later to which she gave me a phone interview primarily asking about availability, she stated she wanted to see me for an in-person interview which was scheduled the next day. It was quite casual, she asked pretty basic retail type questions and was really friendly. The entire interview took approx. 15 minutes. 2 days later I got the offer for the job.

Not much of an interview. They needed a worker and I applied. There were problems with my online application accessibility and it took awhile to get through that. Other than that, I felt like just a body to fill a department.

Am I willing to pay union dues. . Really only wanted more hours for summer and part time during school year, as I work as a para professional educator. This was discussed at interview.
