I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sage in July 2017
Interview
The role was described as a team role in the London office working on SAGE's products. However, the interview was a phone call with a US-based manager. It became apparent the role was more of a time-zone intermediary between the US manager and outsourced contractors in New Delhi for a much-delayed marketing website.
Tried to probe for more information. Status meetings at the start and end of each day to hand work between US / UK / India. Sense of waterfall / command-and-control approach. I felt the job description was misleading based on the discussion. Chose not to progress to the next stage.

Question 1
Typical manager-mindset questions, e.g. "Give an example when you used a standard code library, and when you had to create a custom one, and why." "Describe your biggest challenge." "How do you schedule your day?"
