I applied online. I interviewed at Samsung Research America (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
I think companies forget that their recruitment staff is the "face" of the company for candidates. That means that in this current environment for the fight for talent, companies should also be putting their best foot forward to impress potential candidates (as well as the candidates themselves). It speaks volumes when the recruitment staff has no common professional courtesy to let candidates know their interview status in a timely manner. If they treat you like this in the courtship, how do they treat you once you're an employee? After reading the reviews from current employees, not hearing back from the recruiter seems to be a godsend. Definitely the worst recruitment experience of my current interview slate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview is a generic phone interview screen before moving onto onsite.
3 rounds of interviews with team member ls and then a super day with team members. Not much more to add beyond the interview steps. Met with a lot of people before receiving offer.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Samsung Research America
Interview
HR prescreen ( phone) - respond in 2-5 bi day
Hiring manager / same position personnel - not your direct report ( phone)
Onsite interview ( final) - will take almost whole day to finish the 1:1 interview with each teammate
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Technical questions ( detailed) understanding about the project and android app technology.
HR process is quick
Phone interviewed by the same position ( not direct report) .I was surprised by those very private questions asked in the interview like my family condition - how old are my kids ? How did you get your degree? Who takes care your kids if you need to work late to take care the international conference call... etc.its very unprofessional and feel not being respected.
