I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at San Jose Water Company (San Jose, CA) in May 2024
Interview
I made it a few interviews deep, passed the phone screen, and then my initial on-camera interview. My interviewer indicated she'd be contacting me to schedule an interview with the executive, but then they ghosted. Honestly, it felt like they put "fully remote" in the job description but didn't mean it.

Interview
Simple and very straightforward interview process. I only did the initial phone screen but it seemed like it wasn't a good fit. They weren't looking for someone to be an expert on the full data stack (ETL, tools, modeling, ML, etc) but more specifically just a Tableau expert. I think I did well in showing my Tableau knowledge but I explicitly said that this is the weakest thing for me and that I don't want to present myself as a data vis expert.

Interview
The hiring process was efficient. Received a call back within a week and scheduled an interview a few days afterwards. The interview was a panel style interview. Everyone I met during the interview was kind and seemed like great people to work with. I had an overall great experience meeting everyone and learning about the role.
