Satellite Applications Catapult utilise the Applied recruitment platform, which works well. When first applying for this role, they asked candidates to submit their CV and respond to three questions on how they'd approach certain in-role tasks or challenges. No cover letter was required and these responses were open to view and work on until a set deadline. The Applied platform then presents the reviewers at the Catapult the responses without identifying the canditates, in order to remove bias from the review process. After succeeding at this stage, I was invited to interview at the Catapult office on the Harwell science park.
