I applied online. I interviewed at Scaled Agile in Mar 2026
Interview
I interviewed for PiPlanning.io which apparently was adquired by Scaled Agile.
Im based in Europe, I sent my CV via linkedIn and a few days later I got an email from HR who is based in USA. The party just started (I wasnt ready for the following, keep reading):
- March 3rd: I had a call with her, short and sweet. Then, my next step was to interview with two people from PiPlanning.
- March 10: I had a 1hr videocall with these two guys. Normal questions, normal chat, they seemed to be quite nice. They said they will send an exercise via email to do in the following days.
- March 16: I had a 30min videocall so they explain the excersice (2hours they said) which was NO TRUE at all since they were requesting a simulated user interview with one of them (he simulated to be an user and I had to interview him + design exercise (wireframes and final UI).
- March 20: 45min of simulated interview.
- March 24: feedback from the exercise. On my exercise I suggested the vision of what PiPlanning could be however THEY ASKED ME TO DO A SECOND ROUND (interview + design) because they WANTED ME TO FOLLOW THEIR DESIGN GUIDELINES, LOOK AND FEEL AND OVERALL INTERFACE OF THEIR CURRENT PRODUCT.
- March 31: simulated interview (again).
- April 7: exercise presentation (round 2) from my side. 1hr and 30min.
They clearly said: You will hear from us TOMORROW. Then... silence for 2 WEEKS. A few emails from my side, no reply. Then my last chance, another email. They said they WONT MOVE FORWARD.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scaled Agile (Boulder, CO) in Aug 2023
Interview
It was fairly smooth. The HR screen was followed by three interviews across teams. Overall, it was a smooth process, and I was kept informed along the way. I could tell from the interview process that Scaled Agile was a company that I could see myself with for a long time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about a new tech implementation and how I would go about the evaluation, selection, implementation, and adoption process. From the interview, I could tell that it was a company that I would want to work with.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Scaled Agile (Denver, CO) in Aug 2023
Interview
Very thorough interview process with tests and meeting several people of the team. They were very open to questions and made me feel at ease. The job was remote so this happened over Zoom (or Google meet, can't exactly remember)
