I applied online. I interviewed at Sedam IT (Zagreb)
Interview
Oh my God, where do I begin? The process took a WHILE.
There are 4 steps:
1. 1st email reply from the team
2. 1st interview with the team (heads of department)
3. Psychometric evaluation (IQ testing, interview with a psychologist, etc., took approximately 3 hours with other candidates there)
4. 2nd interview with the heads of department with their final offer. They will typically try to lowball you at this stage, at least in my experience.
I understand budgets are a thing, but it's almost as if they are just trying to pay you as little as possible. Also, they usually won't list a salary range when they post job openings online.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The two team members who interviewed me didn't ask very specific questions as they don't have a lot of experience with the position.
However, the person conducting the psychometric testing asked very personal questions about my family life and even voiced a few conclusions about me based on my answers.
These included questions like "Did your father go to war?", "Are you in a relationship?" "Will you be getting married?" etc.
It was a weird experience. More so since this person seems to have the final say, despite all your qualifications and experience.

Interview
Applied online, got invited to the first interview, testing, and then second interview. Normal testing as in most companies, just a pleasant conversation. There weren't many technical questions, more as a pleasant conversation regarding my professional plans and past experience.

Question 1
Professional goals and plans, questions about OOP, expectations from the job
I applied online. I interviewed at Sedam IT (Zagreb) in July 2017
Interview
After the phone call, I was offered to take an IQ test, and a job-related task which was quite long and complicated. The whole thing lasted less than two hours. I expected to also have an interview with HR, but I'm guessing this happens later in the process.
