Select Eye Care interview questions

Interview was very laid-back. I was given a tour throughout the facility and the Interviewer was showing how the exam rooms were set and what's expected of a tech. The interviewer asked what compensation I was looking for . At that moment I was being paid $21 per hour at my old job (I had almost 5 years of experience in the field and also am certified) so I told her $25 and she basically said that they start new techs at $18-19 and senior techs are making $21. So there was no reason for me to continue the interview, I told them that I would keep the position in mind. I received an email shortly after the interview saying that I had to get a back ground check with their company. And I replied that I was no longer interested.
