I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora (Baton Rouge, LA) in Apr 2023
Interview
Process was pretty fast. I had one phone interview and one in person interview and was offered a position on the spot. I was asked pretty typical questions you'd normally get. If you're passionate about beauty, I'd say it's fairly easy to get this position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How I felt about selling skincare or any other department of beauty (something along the lines... I am more knowledgeable in make up)
Pretty standard interview. A lot of the questions emphasized selling to the customer so focus on that. If they ask what your favourite product is, don’t just say what it is. Try to sell it to the interviewer.
