Interviewed back a few months back for a role based in the SF HQ. Was contacted by recruiter and had a solid conversation, then was asked to prepare a simulated task from a prompt provided by the organization. Spent the better part of a day preparing a presentation because I was told that it was imperative to turn it around within 48 hours so the Hiring Manager could review. Well, fast forward one month of no updates or communication. When I finally reached out a month later I was told my application would not be moving forward.
Word of Advice: Don't waste your time doing their tasks. If they want you for the role, they will choose you. You will also likely have a better chance of landing a role at Sephora if you are a Woman. It's just the culture there.
