The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Roseville, CA) in July 2015
Interview
I had a long interview process ever. Took about 2 months to get hired. There was a phone interview, group interview, 1 on 1 interview, a demo interview, & an interview with the store director
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic interview questions in the first 3 rounds. The demo interview you are given 3 scenarios you need to act out. 1 on 1 was more personal questions about your families & personal experiences, same with the interview with the store director
Interview process was very straightforward with follow up calls and scheduling happening very consistently and within a couple of weeks. The questions felt client - oriented and applicable to the role.
I was given a single interview with very basic questions. I have seen the store give group interviews so be prepared for that. So long as you sound confident, show passion, and practice giving answers to basic questions and prepare to give examples in situations related to customer service, you're doing better than most.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself? Why you want to work here? Strengths and Weaknesses.
It was a group interview and it had like 8 people. We went around in circles. The person interviewing was sweet. It did not have anything to do with makeup but a lot to do with customer service
