I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Shell
Interview
This is regarding an interview which I attended in one of the Indian offices and I don't have any negative feedback on their interview process , but definitely would like to give feedback on the their travel expense reimbursement process which they follow for Outstation candidates attending their interviews . They have a candidate guide which they send in an email when they call you for an assessment to their offices if you are an outstation candidate. This guide explains their process such as how much they care for your safety and health and so they want you come only by a flight and what are the expenditure caps till which you can spend for your flight tickets, hotel accommodation, food and transport for attending this assessment and which they would reimburse within 30 working days (if you are a local candidate ) and may be some more days if you are coming from outside the country. When you follow up they will say process is going on , or completed and you will receive your money transfer. But then It may take more than 2 months and you will find that they may have not yet given your money or the delay may be highly frustrating or you may not receive your money in the worst case scenario . even worse they do not have any proper contact numbers where you can check and all that you can do is communicate by mail to wait for a response. If you are planning to attend to an interview with them , please keep these points in mind about the experience you may have when you request for your money. This may not happen for all the candidates who attend interviews and use your own discretion to decide whether you want to go ahead or not
Very interactive and the interviewer provided room for relaxation, there was no hurry and nervousness didn't peek due to the feeling of being interactive and not interrogative. We could ask questions back to the interviewer and he was kind enough to repeat the questions.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Haag)
Interview
The process took longer than a month. 2 interviews but it might be more than that. After all this time they reject me because lack of experience in a particular topic. It would be great if they publish the offer with the full requirements otherwise you will get many candidates with different experience .
